A danger mines sign on a fence outside the site of the Baptism of Christ

Watch ITV News Report on the Symbolic Start of Clearance at the Baptism Site

28th March 2018 | West Bank | Media coverage | Clearing explosives

Look closely, and the tailfins of mortar bombs, protruding from the sand, are also evident.

But all this is about to change.

As HALO began work to clear the mines from the Baptism site, John Irvine, Senior International Correspondent for ITV NEWS, traveled to this sacred place to file an exclusive report.
