AFGHANISTAN EMERGENCY

HALO is receiving enquiries from people wishing to leave Afghanistan. Currently, HALO is only able to assist with the US Government's Refugee Admission Priority 2 visas. Eligibility has been extended to current, and former, HALO employed Afghanistan national staff (and their immediate family) who are, or have been employed under US-funded grants. 

The P2 Visa Process allows for possible entry to the United States under the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP), but takes many months and will not give immediate access to Kabul airport.

The US Department of State has asked HALO to collect information from individuals who wish to be referred to the programme. The US Government will then contact applicants.
