Adam joined HALO in 2008 and has since worked in Mozambique, Afghanistan and Georgia. He is currently Program Manager for Sri Lanka. BA (Social Anthropology & Georgian)


Bernard Rosarin
HALO Sri Lanka Operations Officer (Kilinochchi)

Rosarin joined the HALO Trust as deminer in Jaffna in August 2002. Within a few months he was promoted to be a team leader, then to supervisor and training officer. In September 2009, Rosarin led HALO’s emergency deployment to formerly LTTE-controlled areas in the Vanni. Since then he has overseen the recruitment, training and deployment of 300 formerly displaced people in the Vanni. He is qualified to EOD Level 2.




Donald Paskar
HALO Sri Lanka Operations Officer (Jaffna)

Paskar joined HALO in September 2002 as an interpreter, but quickly became involved in operations. After completing deminer training, he was promoted to be a team leader and rose through the ranks to the post of Operations Officer, overseeing 250 demining staff in Jaffna. Prior to joining HALO, Paskar worked as an elevator technician in Saudi Arabia for 9 years. He is qualified to EOD Level 2.




Rajadurai Sritharan
HALO Sri Lanka Survey and EOD Supervisor

Sri joined HALO in 2002 as a deminer and was trained as a survey officer in 2003. He leads a small team which works with local people to identify, mark and record newly-discovered minefields. The team is also responsible for dealing with unexploded and abandoned ordnance reported by the public. Sri is from Tellipallai in Northern Jaffna, but was displaced during the fighting in the 1990s.
